The flank steak is a flavorful cut of beef, it is lean and boneless with lots of intense beefy flavor. It is a long, flat cut that runs from the rib to the hip or rump. Flank steak is high in protein and contains almost no fat. It is best when marinated, slow braised, baked, or grilled over high heat. It is important to cut the meat following the grain.
Flank steak is versatile and goes well with just about anything. We like it with mashed potatoes, baked veggies, or combined with vegetables and a good rice dish. It is great sliced thin for a stir-fry, to make a quick simple meal.
All of our beef is USDA approved and dry aged for a minimum of 21 days. All of our steaks are cut at 1½"-1¾"thickness. Each flank steak is individually vacuum sealed, ships raw, and frozen.
